Fantastic dinning experience. Worthy of a Michelin Star. The staff were great and extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the food was delicious. There is a lot of attention spent on getting ingredients that are locally and sustainably sourced.

Oyster Oyster, Thank you for reviving my faith in DC food scene by showing everyone that it doesn’t just consist of lame food trucks and awful fusion cuisines. Every single dish was amazing from top-down and perfectly curated. The asparagus course and the mushroom ragu were absolute show stoppers in a way that elevated the vegetables that I already loved so very much. Oh and the starter snacks and that marvelous broccoli bread pairs with the sunflower seed butter was just beyond. If I had a vegetarian meal like this every day, I’d happily go vegetarian full time. Thank you for an amazing meal

The hype is real! Tbh I was hesitant about a vegan/vegetarian tasting menu (would I like it, would I get enough to eat, etc) but I was blown away. From the welcome broth (so beefy somehow??) to the julienned vegetable “pasta”, everything was so gorgeous. Amazing concentration and depth of flavors, and such interesting and genuine presentation by the staff. This could have easily veered into a pretentious or snooty menu but it was just really honest and thoughtful and delicious. Loved it.

Incredible experience! Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. My husband and I really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here! They made it extra special with a few surprises here and there. Thank you! (Highly recommend the wine paring BTW)

Oyster Oyster gets a lot of praise and deserves it. The fact that the food is vegan (except one oyster) is basically incidental. The food is delicious, creative, and has a lot of varieties of flavors. It's also reasonable price for a Michelin Star restaurant. If I had one criticism it would be that there could have been a bit more food. I wasn't hungry at the end but I could have gone for another course. Still I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

The experience of dining here really exceeded the considerable hype which I'm grateful for. Astonishing creativity with local ingredients translates into really, really good food that happens to be vegan but honestly defeats any attempt to label it as anything you've ever had before.

Great vegetarian michelin restaurant! Almost all of the dishes served here are vegetarian with the exception of an oyster that they serve during the first course. Th oyster was dressed with kimchi juice, the kimchi juice was very fresh and not fermented enough for my liking, thus I think you're not missing anything if you were to skip the oyster. They have a vegan option as well which many people opted in to. We were very full by the end of the meal! Our favorite dishes were the broccoli bread and the asparagus with ramps, this was to die for! Second favorite was the pumpkin seed gnocchi which was very hearty and filling (served with a fennel salad on top so it was very well balanced). Since it was my birthday, they gave me a bowl of little porcelain mushrooms which I was able to pick one and take home with me! The chefs serve and introduce the dishes to you so you get the most detail about the dishes which was a great touch.

I am truly a pick eater so anytime I'm able to do a full tasting menu with no worries about having eating restrictions I jump at the opportunity. Oyster Oyster has such a carefully crafted menu for vegans and vegetarians alike. The only element that is not vegan is the oyster they serve as one of the tasting elements. Other than that, it is truly a vegan person's heaven. So much fresh vegetables cooked in ways I literally could not have dreamed up. The Gnocchi mushroom dish served with the broccoli bread was my absolute favorite part of the menu. The bread was served with marigold butter that absolutely blew my mind. Do yourself a favor and also try the Non Alcoholic tasting menu to accompany your dish as it was such a great way to get more fresh juices and tonics to accompany the meal. I highly highly recommend this place to everyone and a round of applause to their excellent service as well.
